Marc Jones, a partner in the firm’s Corporate Practice, has extensive experience in the areas of mergers and acquisitions, private equity, corporate securities, start-ups, joint venture formation and general corporate matters in a broad range of industries. He joined Richardson & Patel in 2012.

Mr. Jones’ practice includes mergers and acquisitions, early and late stage venture financings and joint venture transactions. He represents venture capitalists, private equity firms, investment banks and issuers in private equity transactions and public securities offerings. In addition, Mr. Jones has extensive experience representing executives and employers in executive employment arrangements, and representing lenders and borrowers in private debt transactions.

Prior to joining Richardson & Patel, Mr. Jones was a partner at both Goodwin Procter and McDermott Will & Emery LLP, where he was a transactional attorney in both firm’s corporate departments. Mr. Jones is admitted to practice in California and has been recognized on multiple occasions as a Southern California Super Lawyer by Law & Politics and Los Angeles magazine.

Mr. Jones has a J.D. and MBA from the University of California, Los Angeles School of Law, 1995 and B.A. from the University of California, Davis, 1989.
